High-temperature-resistant Alloys

ALLOY 80-20- One of its main applications is the manufacture of electrical resistances, which in certain circumstances may operate in temperatures of up to 1,150 º C.

ALLOY 600- High performance in mechanical properties and oxidation resistance up to 1,150 º C; it is used in making elements for furnaces in general, reactors recipients, heat exchangers, etc.

ALLOY 601- Good features at temperatures above 1,000 º C in consequence of the formation of a protective layer of Chrome-Aluminium, which does not detach in heat cycles: it is used in the manufacture of spare parts for furnace (radiant tubes, muffles, etc.) and heat treatment tools. 

ALLOY DS- Excellent performance in oxidant atmospheres up to 1,000 º C (under acyclic conditions of heat-cold thermal processes and in high Nitrogen content atmospheres (dissociated ammonia); it is use in the manufacture of spare parts for furnaces and heat treatment tools.

ALLOY 800- Good performance in oxidant and reducing atmospheres, just like the 600, 601 and DS Alloys: it does not form “sigma phase”, and it is used for process equipment operating at high temperatures. 

AISI-310- High oxidation resistance up to temperatures of 1,100 º C; it is used in the manufacture of furnace spares, heat treatment tools, refractory metal meshes, etc. 

Corrosion-Resistant Alloys  

ALLOY 825- Outstanding corrosion resistance; it is used for recipients or elements that come into contact with sulphuric and phosphoric acid solutions. 

AISI-316L- Enhances  the properties of the AISI-316 against the corrosion, for its low “C” content. It is used in making exchangers, condensers, etc.  

AISI-316- Good  performance against phosphoric acid attack up 40 º C, hydrochloric acid diluted to 1% at 20 º C. Used for the ship-building, chemistry, textile, etc. industries.  

AISI-304L- It improves the properties of AISI-304 against intragranular corrosion, to its low “C” content. 

AISI-304- Resistant to the most usual corrosion attacks, maintaining good mechanical characteristics at cryogenic temperatures.

AISI-430- Ferritic material. Good resistance to the corrosion,. It is used in the manufacture of components and elements of enamelling Furnaces.
